Condition: Beautiful color remains, fragment of a volute krater.
Description: Wonderful depiction of the Gorgon, who – after an amorous play with Poseidon – was transformed by Pallas Athena into a monster with serpent hair. Her appearance freezed every man to stone. The contours a set in black, her gaze is lowered.
