Provenance: French private collection, acquired on 26 February 1996 at Tajan, lot 118. Accompanied by a French antiquity passport.
Condition: Worn nose, mouth and forehead, but still of an expressive quality.
Description: Diorite bust of a dignitary with delicate features, almond-shaped eyes and a straight wig, leaving the ears bare. Shoulders, chest and abs realistically worked out. On the back two vertical hieroglyph lines beginning with an offering phrase. Above in red an old collection number. Mounted.
