Provenance: Acquired at Gallery Motte in Geneva on 31 October 1970, number 16. Thence French private collection.
Condition: The lid is restored with fillings, on the corpus two handles added, otherwise well preserved.
Description: Large bulbous vessel of the Impasto Ware with four circular handles. The corpus with v-shaped dotted patterns in three parallel lines, which were pressed with a comb-like instrument into the still soft clay. The base is flat. The lid also with four handles, in between circular dotted decoration on raised bars. The areas in between with the comb decoration analog to the corpus. A small, circular indentation on the lid framed by incised lines.
