Condition: Both hands missing, both legs broken on the thighs.
Description: Very elegant bronze statuette of the goddess Venus, even though preserved only as a fragment. She stands with her weight on the left leg, the right one bent forward. The body of the nude Venus is energetically turned to the left, her head slightly bent downwards. The right arm is raised, the left one held down. Venus’ hair is parted in the centre and pulled up high. Two curly strands cascading left and right to the shoulders. The deep lying eyes were possibly once with silver inlays. A high-quality bronze work. Mounted.
