Description: Interesting Daunian kyathos with a plate-shaped base on a flat footing, which appears like an oversized mouth of an animal. The effect is created by the raised handle, which features round holes punched on the inside just above the rim, accentuated by black outlines. These resemble the eyes of an amphibian, and the plate itself as its enormous mouth. The kyathos is decorated with black stripes on the outside and a segmented circle on the underside. Ladder rungs are painted on the outside of the handle.
