Description: Wonderfully preserved hemispherical bowl belonging to the “Meshkinshar Grey Ware.” This Bronze Age pottery originates from the northwestern Iranian province of Ardabil, near the border with Azerbaijan and the present-day city of Meshginshahr. The handle-less pouring vessel is finely polished and its luster imitates metal. The body is hemispherical in form, while the slightly inward-turning rim is interrupted only by the broad, beak-shaped spout.
