Provenance: Collection Ezeldeen Taha Eldarir, acquired on 15 May 1930 from Salahaddin Sirmali in Cairo and then brought to the USA.
Condition: On one udjat eye the beard is reattached, otherwise all amulets and beads are consistently intact. The necklace is restrung on a linen string.
Description: Necklace with numerous amulets dating to the Egyptian Late Period, amongst them eight faience and stone udjat- or eyes of Horus. Furthermore, two faience hippo amulets, one amulet of a nursing Isis, one Bes amulet, one pendant in form of an antlered sun disk, as well as a small faience bead in form of the god Ptah. Between the pendants small faience beads. The necklace is restrung and ready to wear.
