Description: Large thin-walled beaker of almost completely discoloured glass with exceptionally large indentations on each of the four sides. The vessel stands on a slightly concave base, the rim is pulled outwards and cut smoothly. Vessels with indentations and folds were already found in cities around the Mount Vesuvius and continued to be popular until the late ancient times. The present cup with its exceptionally deep indentations does not have a foot ring pulled out of the wall and consequently has to be dated earlier. With beautiful iridescence. From the eastern Mediterranean region.
