Description: Charming terracotta statuette from a workshop in Tanagra, which depicts a standing woman, who leans with her right hand on a column. She wears a long chiton, which reaches to the floor and covers her feet. Her left arm is pushed on her hip. The woman has thick, curly hair, which still has beautiful traces of red colour, is parted in the middle and pulled back to a bun. Her gaze is full of confidence and directed to the distance. The head sits on a long neck and is slightly tilted to the left. The woman stands on the left leg, the right free leg is crossed in front, so that her weight is distributed between the supporting leg and the right arm on the column. The statuette stands on a rectangular plinth.
