Description: Roman flask of bluish-green clear glass with splendid iridescence. The flask with a long, upwards tapering neck and horizontally protruding, outwards pulled rim. The body zoomorphic in form of a stylized bird. Striking is that the tail does not protrude straight like with most of the Roman bird-shaped flasks but is rolled upwards. In the enclosed old collection note the glass is therefore also described as “in form of a boot”.
