Condition: The right foot reattached, otherwise very beautifully preserved.
Description: Very detailed and lovingly worked out terracotta statuette from a workshop in Tanagra depicting a girl holding a moneybag and seated on an altar. The girl supports herself with the left hand in the back and sits straight. She holds the full moneybag in the right hand and presses it against herself. She wears a thin dress, which reaches to her knees, with one strap slipping over the left shoulder. Her curly, neck-length hair is parted in the centre and crowned by a thick flower hair wreath. The statuette stands on a rectangular plinth. Accompanied by a TL test of 18 October 2024 confirming the age of the figure.
