Description: Charming shabti of blue glazed faience, which belonged to the funerary setting of Amun priest Amenemope (Amen-em-ope). The figure in mummiform with such a striking wig, which protrudes over the forehead like a massive veil, pushing the large ears forwards. The arms are crossed in front of the chest. Each hand holds a hoe, which is painted in black on the upper body. The strands of the wig, the filet, as well as the seed bag on the back are also accentuated in black. Apart from the large ears also the round eyes, the nose and the mouth are sculpturally worked out. A hieroglyphic inscription in one column runs along the legs.
