Description: Wonderfully preserved Daunian kantharos with a plate-shaped base with a slightly inwards curved bottom. The high loop handle starts on the rim and reaches to the bottom. The base, the exterior, the handle, as well as the rim of the plate are painted with geometric decoration in red and brown colours. On the side and on the sharp-edged, slightly protruding rim encircling horizontal bands. At the bottom in the centre a star in a circle. On the border a circle with inwards rows of teeth. In the tondo of the plate a black X with opposite red arrows.
