Description: Blue glazed faience shabti from the tomb of the overseer of the granary called Djedkhonsuefankh. The figure in mummiform with crossed arms in front of the chest. It holds in each hand a hoe for the field work. In the back the seed back with a rope. The face with eyes painted in black is framed by the lobes of the tripartite wig. Over the forehead a filet, which is knotted in the back. The wonderfully painted hieroglyphs run vertically in one row. They mention the owner as Osiris and consequently connect him with the ruler of the otherworld. Followed by the name Djedkhonsuefankh, as well as the title overseer over the granary.
