Description: Large biconical jug, formed by hand of the so-called Impasto Ware, which was fired from polished, dark grey clay. The vessel stands on a set off, at the bottom flat foot ring. The body widens hoop-shaped towards the middle, before it sharply tapers towards the neck. Engraved in the clay are encircling hatched triangles in the top part towards the shoulder. The engraved rows are interrupted by a circular band handle in the back. The neck is long and conical, the rim is pulled outwards and rounded. A quite rare form.
