Description: Roman sprinkler blown into form with a spherical body and rounded base. The outside is decorated with a pattern of squares, each with a raised dot in the centre. The estuary is far outwards bent, the rim folded inwards and rounded. The neck is cylindrical and slightly constricted towards the body. Inside the neck is divided by a folded partition, which only has a small round opening. This allowed the precious liquid that this glass once held to be poured out drop by drop. From Syria.
