Description: Charming small reddish terracotta statuette of the Neolithic Vinča culture. The stylized statuette depicts a dancing anthropomorphic figure with short stubby arms and a square head facing to the right. It wears a long gown with a V-neckline in the front around the neck. In the back the dress with four engrave V-motives. The legs are not accentuated. Vinča figures such as the present one were used for ritual purposes and served as fertility idols. From the region of Supska-Stublina.
