Description: Solid bronze cast of the nude goddess with her right hand slightly stretched forward. Her left hand covers her private part. Venus wears a diadem and her hair is pulled back in thick strands. Two curls are falling sideways on her shoulders and partly covering her breasts. The goddess stands with her weight on her left foot, her right, the knee stretched forward, slightly bent. A charming Roman adaption of Praxiteles’ Aphrodite of Cnidus with beautiful patina. Mounted.
