Description: Finely worked bronze applique in form of a theatre mask. Depicted is the goddess Venus with her hair pulled up to a chignon, and long corkscrew curls cascading down along her temples. Her mouth is slightly open, the eyes once possibly had inlays of a different material. High-quality Bronze applique. Mounted.
