Description: Completely preserved and still sealed bronze sarcophagus of a snake. On the upper side the sculptural depiction of a moving snake with delicate engraving in cold work. The body finely corrugated, the head worked out. The elongated sarcophagus with a square section is still sealed. At the back end it is clearly visible how the opening was re-soldered after inserting the snake mummy. At the bottom an old collection label.
