Condition: One wing missing, otherwise intact, with spectacular cuprit-patina.
Description: Important bronze statuette of an Eros with oscillating wings. The child god with his right arm placed over his head to shoulder a hydria tilting forward. The left arm holds the back of the vase. The weight of the hydria pushes the god’s head forward. The dynamic and movement of the depiction is intensified with the coat wrapped around his neck, flying in the wind. Exceptional depiction full of vigour and intensity. Mounted.
