Condition: Missing parts on the plinth, figure professionaly reassembled from a few pieces.

Description: Hellenistic terracotta statuette of a youth modelled with many details, who sits on a rock and leans on a stele with a victory wreath. He seems to be lost in thoughts, his head is slightly bent, the features appear melancholic. The youth wears a cap over his thick, curly hair. He is wrapped in a cloak up to his chin, knotted on the right shoulder. His legs are crossed, the left one entangled to the right front one. The figure stands on a square plinth. A rare depiction. Possibly from a workshop in Tanagra. With an old collection label at the bottom. With a TL test of 23 October 2021 confirming the age of the statuette.
