Condition: On one side some glass threads missing, wear on the snout, otherwise wonderfully preserved.
Description: Extremely rare cosmetic flask of pale green glass. A double-unguentarium decorated with horizontal fine, red-brown rigaree carried on the back of a stylized, four leg animal (probably a horse or donkey) with a black tail and black head. Beautifully iridescent colours. References can be found in the Metropolitan Museum (Accession number: 69.153) and in the Princeton University Art Museum (Inventory number: y1940-331).
