Condition: The surface with flakings, a small ancient chip on the handle, but the vessel is intact.
Description: Thin walled terracotta vase of the so-called "Nikosthenes style". The dark grey, very shiny clay imitates bronze vases. The handles, starting at the rim are very protruding, semi-circular and worked out in open work. Each depicts two upwards striding, four-legged, winged mixed creatures. The spherical corpus with three encircling ribs. On the shoulder engraved lines. From the base of the ringfoot to the first rib ray decoration.
