Condition: Limestone fragment, stucco and color. Reassembled from three pieces, but no overpainting.
Description: Limestone fragment of a wall painting from a villa from the imperial period. The painting depicts a nurse in a long dress with veil on a high quality furniture, holding a child in her arms. Her sight is raised and facing to the right. The baby is wrapped in white blankets. Above her a gable, the floor in the same red-brown color. Thick dotted lines framing the painting. Mounted.
